Join us for an intimate evening celebrating the 2-year anniversary of Hajeetek Majeetek: My Grandmother’s North African Folktales! This special event will feature an immersive storytelling session, traditional sweets, an incredible set-up by Lamma Events, fun activities, and a chance to engage with the author, Sara Filali, during a Q&A session. Signed copies of her book will be available for purchase. 

Come celebrate North African folklore, local storytelling, and community!

Anyone who comes dressed in cultural clothing or brings a copy of my book will get a ticket for a raffle prize!

She recently debuted her book, "Hajeetek Majeetek: My Grandmother's North African Folktales," a captivating collection that translates her grandmother's legacy into a celebration of North African heritage. Through her dynamic art series portraying Muslim women, she challenges stereotypes and emphasizes the beautiful individuality of her subjects.

In this interactive workshop, participants will explore the power of storytelling as a means of self-expression and community building.
