Creativity and the Muslim Identity

We struggle to proudly identify ourselves as Muslim and find outlets for self-expression and creativity in our communities. Creativity and the Muslim Identity is an interactive workshop with the purpose of answering this crucial question: how can Muslim American youth develop creative skills and networks to solve problems in our communities?

Students will...

  • Understand the theoretical concepts of living creatively.

  • Navigate intersectional identities and skill-sets to channel towards their purpose.

  • Gain confidence in claiming their labels as Muslim Americans.

  • This workshop is aimed for Muslim youth (high school and college-aged students). Bookings are available for mosques, high school/college MSA’s, and other youth community organizations. If you need any accommodations or customized additions, don’t hesitate to contact me.
